Staging the Message Workshop
2015 Week long workshop with Dutch Designer, Jan Van Toorn. Our group focused on Self-awareness in the Digital Era for the Staging the Message Workshop. We were each concerned with the way technological advancements and social media platforms have encouraged people to create digital personas that hyper-realistically portray a version of ourselves that doesn’t exist in reality. We decided to explore ways in which we could counter these digital portraits in order to either call attention to their unreality or to reassert the reality of ourselves.
